BXcellence CIC is a social enterprise that provides support services to young people and vulnerable adults, consultancy, support to organisations within the third sector, and statutory services with aims to improve their ability to engage hard-to-reach clients. BXcellence also focuses on enhancing their knowledge of contextual risks faced by young people, disadvantaged communities.

"Lived experience" in the context of educating and supporting young people to avoid and divert from crime. Lived experience means working with people who have first-hand knowledge of the criminal justice system, such as prison leavers and individuals who have been involved in gangs, street violence, drugs, or antisocial behavior. We use

We use our "lived experience" to help young people avoid crime and grooming and manipulation by criminals, friends, or older’s to carrying out criminal activities. By having workers who have been through these experiences, we can better understand the warning signs and tactics that people use to target young people.

Our sessions can take many different forms,
including one-to-one support, group discussions,
workshops, and mentoring programs. The
approach is tailored and is designed to be
engaging, informative, and supportive.

Delivered in partnership with health professionals and youth safety campaigners, our workshops cover a range of contextual risks, realities, and impacts as well as education and information on how to save lives, manage catastrophic bleeds prior to emergency services attending, and where to seek help and advice, as well as where to share information anomalously.
